Responsibilities: Wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens Make beds Replenish guest room supplies, to include clean towels and washcloths Clean and mop rooms, hallways, restrooms, stairways, and exterior bathrooms Clean rugs, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaner Dust furniture and fixtures Disinfect and deodorize in-room refrigerator and microwave Check plates, bowls, and glassware in cabinets, returning dirty dishes to restaurant and replacing any missing items Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed Wash windows, door panels, and sills Empty wastebaskets Transport trash and waste to dumpster Replenish bathroom supplies Replace light bulbs as needed Report any damages or maintenance issues to General Manager (GM) immediately Communicate low stock items and supplies to GM for reorder Report guests’ items left behind to front desk and turn in to GM Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals Report to work for scheduled shift on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner Perform other related duties as required or requested by the GM
