Wake Robin, Vermont’s premier senior living community, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper and offers a better work/life balance with a 4-day work week. The work day is 8.5 hours with a paid half hour for lunch, and the difference is made up so employees get paid for a full 40 hours. In this community, appreciation and respect are very important. The work involves helping to care for people who know you by name and say thank you regularly. Wake Robin is invested in a better life for its residents, staff and the community at large. The foundation of Wake Robin's success as a Life Plan Community is the mutual respect among staff and between residents and staff. Staff share a belief in the dignity and worth of each resident and each other, upholding Wake Robin’s commitment to these values. The relationship between staff and residents is a hallmark of this community. Wake Robin supports career growth, offering flexible scheduling for those wishing to return to school and loan forgiveness programs, great benefits, a pristine working environment, and an opportunity to build strong relationships with staff and residents in a dynamic community setting. Staff members work together with humor and an appreciation for diversity. For many, the biggest benefit of working here is coming to know Wake Robin’s residents and having the time and support to do good work on their behalf. Wake Robin believes in supporting a livable wage for all Vermonters and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
