Description The Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness of the facility for residents, visitors and employees. Takes pride and ownership in the condition of the facility to ensure that it is a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
  • Knowledge of infection control techniques.
  • Ability to be patient and polite.
  • Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
  • All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per state specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
  • Must be 18 years or older

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.
  • Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store in a secure area.
  • Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers.
  • Ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
  • Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
