About The Position

Hotel housekeeping duties involve maintaining guest room cleanliness, sanitizing bathrooms, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and cleaning public areas to meet high hygiene standards. Key responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction, reporting maintenance issues, managing inventory of cleaning supplies, following safety protocols, and providing attentive service.

Requirements

Time Management: Cleaning a set number of rooms within a designated shift.
Physical Stamina: Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety and sanitation policies, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
Detail-Oriented: Ensuring rooms meet top-notch cleanliness standards for guest experience.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and sanitizing bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
Stripping beds, replacing dirty linens and towels, and making beds to hotel standards.
Restocking toiletries, towels, soap, shampoo, and other guest amenities.
Cleaning hallways, lobbies, public restrooms, and other common areas to ensure a tidy environment.
Disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, elevator buttons, and light switches.
Washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, uniforms, and guest valet items.
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues (leaks, broken lights, damaged furniture) and safety hazards to management.
Properly documenting, logging, and turning in items found in guest rooms.
Tracking cleaning supplies, guest room amenities, and informing supervisors of low stock.
Responding promptly and courteously to guest needs, such as delivering extra pillows or cleaning up spills.
