About The Position

The Housekeeper shall be responsible for cleaning areas within the both the Baptist Health hospital departments and non-hospital departments. This individual shall complete all tasks assigned efficiently, effectively, and on a daily basis. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or Alabama Essentials Pathway diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year work experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have a visual acuity at close and distant ranges.
• Must be able to demonstrate manual dexterity in performance of duties.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of peers, customers and management.
• Must be able to work safely around chemicals, dust and be flexible with begin and end shift time.
