Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • Comfortable speaking and writing in English
  • Able to follow safety and cleanliness procedures
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand for long periods, and handle heavier items as part of daily duties

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Clean offices, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
  • Maintain residents’ apartments on a set schedule
  • Dust, move furniture, and clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and draperies
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills
  • Empty wastebaskets, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Restock bathroom supplies
  • Perform emergency pull-cord testing
