About The Position

Day Shift Housekeeper – Senior Living Community (Monday–Friday) Full-Time | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Some Holidays Required Ginger Cove is a premier life-care retirement community dedicated to providing exceptional quality, comfort, and care to our residents. Our vibrant, CARF-accredited community focuses on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both residents and staff. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of resident apartments and common areas while providing friendly and professional service to our residents. This is a stable Monday-Friday day shift position in a beautiful senior living community where you will build relationships with residents and be part of a supportive team. Important: This role requires daily interactions with residents. Candidates must be able to speak and understand English clearly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English in order to communicate with residents and follow cleaning instructions
• Must present yourself in a professional manner and demonstrate genuine care and respect for elderly residents
• Must be willing to complete any required state training within the required timeframe

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, kitchens, and bathrooms
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and common areas
• Assist with collection, cleaning, and distribution of laundry for residents and departments
• Ensure laundry is properly sorted, washed, and dried according to state regulations
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in proper condition
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in training and drills
• Provide friendly and respectful service when interacting with residents
