About The Position

A Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms and public areas of the hotel in accordance with Brand Standards and hotel guidelines. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls and vacuuming to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Candidates can expect to: walk and stand for a full shift; bend stoop and reach overhead; pushing and pulling up to 100lbs and lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to Brand Standards.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to designated area.
• Replenish supplies such as cups, coffee, writing supplies, linens, and bathroom supplies.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, neat and tidy.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Clean carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Clean balcony including furniture.
• Clean sliding glass door tracks.
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors/managers immediately.
