About The Position

Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire a Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Housekeeper, you will: • Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks. • Works with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise. • Assists with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping, notifying supervisor when refill orders are needed. • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards • Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances • Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Able to work quickly without compromising quality
  • Advanced knowledge of cleaning products
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and dedication to team environment
  • Ability to work with diverse communities
  • A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
  • Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.
  • Must be available: -Monday-Sunday -For either Day, Evening, or Night Shifts Days: 7:30am-3pm Evenings: 3:30pm-11pm Nights: 6pm-7am
