The ER at North Valleys, is located at 7205 Sky Vista Pkwy, Reno, NV 89506 and provides 24/7 emergency care in a convenient Reno setting. At this facility, a skilled team of emergency-trained physicians, nurses, imaging and laboratory staff deliver the same high-quality care as our hospital ER. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.
