We are currently looking for a Housekeeper for Haywood Estates by Barclay House Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper: · Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. · Performs routine general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and Individual resident apartment. This includes but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios and resident apartments, elevators and stairways. · Cleaning and defrosting refrigerator as needed, cleaning air/heat filters, changing bed/linens, turn mattress (with assistance), empty trash basket. · Deep cleaning as needed and necessary. Pay close attention to main entry area, focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows and light fixtures. · Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required. · Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads from carts. · Courteously and clearly take resident orders, serve meals and desserts. · Bus and clear dishes, carts and return to kitchen. Reset dining room as needed for next meal. · May perform other duties as assigned. Adheres and supports the policies and procedures of QSL Management

Requirements

Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required.
Communicate effectively in English
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling.
Desire to work with seniors required
Must be able to work flexible schedules; may include weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Strong organizational and time management skills
