About The Position

This full-time Housekeeper position at Texas Health Flower Mound involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas according to established infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines. The role contributes to a teamwork environment, receives excellent mentorship, comprehensive training, and dedicated leadership resources within a fast-paced, high-volume Environmental Services department. Texas Health Flower Mound is a 24/7, 99-bed acute-care center with over 600 physicians, recognized as the Best Hospital in Denton County for 11 consecutive years and a Bariatric Center of Excellence. Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently, setting priorities, and being flexible in assignments.
  • Able to work around housekeeping chemicals.
  • Full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months of hospital or hotel housekeeping experience

Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, pull trash, pull dirty linen, clean sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
  • Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
  • Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
