About The Position

Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for taking care of our campus in a clean and orderly manner. The Lexus of Stevens Creek Housekeeper Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $19.00 - $21.00. This position is 100% on site at Lexus of Stevens Creek in Santa Clara, CA. Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
- Previous Janitorial/Housekeeping experience or related field, desired.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and gardening; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the dealership.
- Floor maintenance by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
- Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
- Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
- Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners.
- Dilutes / Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Inspects designated areas of the dealership for opportunities to repair and/or clean as appropriate.
- Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Assists in all other areas of the Facilities department, as needed.
- Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
- Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
