About The Position
We are hiring a per diem (casual) Housekeeper on the day shift to help clean and maintain a convent home for elder Franciscan sisters in Chicago (60659 area near Lincolnwood and North Park neighborhoods)! This is an unscheduled / per diem position (picking up shifts as available - to cover vacation, holidays, leaves. Weekdays and weekends as needed. The hourly range for this position is $17.01 - $20.56 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. General Summary: The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms, and vacuuming and cleaning floors. Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping/cleaning experience in commercial/environmental setting
- Seeking a dedicated hard worker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a team setting
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
