What You’ll Do: As a Housekeeper, you’ll help maintain a spotless, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and team members. Your work supports health, happiness, and dignity across our community. Key responsibilities include: Clean resident apartments, common areas, and offices to high standards Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust assigned areas Wash windows, mirrors, blinds, walls, ceilings, and elevators Change bed linens and empty wastebaskets Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment Follow safety procedures including proper chemical labeling and signage Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors Participate in facility functions and demonstrate interest in community activities Attend mandatory continuing education sessions and departmental meetings Work cooperatively as a team member and accept additional duties as needed Observe fiscal responsibility when using community resources

Requirements

  • Prior housekeeping experience (minimum 6 months preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a courteous, professional demeanor
  • Compassion for and desire to work with older adults
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hands/arms effectively
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to read and comprehend written material and numbers

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident apartments, common areas, and offices to high standards
