Housekeepers - both full and part-time, day shift, are needed at an exciting and face-paced nursing facility in Murfreesboro, TN. Pay range $13.09 an hour to $18.39 an hour Tennessee State Veterans Home is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility dedicated to caring for Tennessee veterans and their families. Consistently ranked in the top 3% for quality care according to CMS, Tennessee State Veterans Home has been a leader in Nursing Home care for over 25 years. We are currently looking for housekeepers who will be responsible for performing day-to-day housekeeping functions in facility offices, resident rooms and common areas and special projects as assigned. These duties include sweeping and/or mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning walls, furniture, and equipment as needed, cleaning resident bathrooms, etc. You will be working with chemicals and cleaners on a daily basis. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping / cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Individual must be able to work independently and reschedule cleaning activities to meet the needs of residents or nursing staff
- Individual must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- Must be able to read and understand Standard English and be able to work with standard cleaning chemicals

- Employment and Professional References Required
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred and previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred
