About The Position

Landmark Hospital of Columbia has an opportunity for a Full Time Houskeeper to join our dedicated and professional team. Our housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining compliance with OSHA, infections control and safety guidelines, using a professional and customer service-focused approach. Maintaining premises in a clean and orderly manner is the foundation for the nursing care that is provided at our facility. Requirements

Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must pass background check/drug test.

Responsibilities

Cleans patients'/residents' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention.
Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets.
Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies.
Outside trash pickup and leave removal as needed.
Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedures.
