Requirements
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including reaching overhead and floor care.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with healthcare infection control standards and protocols.
- Experience using specialized cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other hospital spaces according to established protocols.
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily cleaning schedules and respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests.
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self from potential hazards.
