About The Position

Hidden Creek Recovery and Retreat is a premier adolescent mental health treatment facility dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to young individuals struggling with mental health challenges. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, our retreat offers a peaceful environment that promotes healing and personal growth Our facility is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain our facility in Tallapoosa Georgia. The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable. Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends possible. Shifts vary from 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, or 8am-4:30pm. Type: Full-Time Salary: starting at $14 hourly The Inventory and Housekeeping tech is a member of the multidisciplinary team, who is directly involved in providing guidance of cleaning skills to clients and assists them to clean if necessary. The Inventory and Housekeeping tech is responsible for maintaining client common areas and all office areas clean on a daily basis. The position requires a lot of walking and must be able to remain on their feet throughout their shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
Cleaning experience

Responsibilities

Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas.
Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans.
Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors.
Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
Remove and replace linens, bedspreads, and blankets.
Stock – Wash and stock all towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
Fold laundry and put away as needed.
Other – Pick up and empty trash containers.
Load washer and dryer as needed.
If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.
