About The Position
Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is a skilled nursing Facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Laundry Worker who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky’s Veterans. Skills and expectations for this position include but are not limited to: Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary attractive environment. Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage. Assist in the Housekeeping department as needed. This position has an approved Locality Premium of $8.89, based on the organizational structure and work county it is currently assigned to, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
