About The Position

The Housekeeper at The Virginian Golf Club ensures that all public areas, offices, and shared spaces across the property are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation. This position contributes to an exceptional member and guest experience by upholding a welcoming, sanitary, and well-organized environment throughout the Clubhouse, golf course facilities, pickleball complex, and pool and fitness areas.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality or clubhouse environment.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in luxury hospitality settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all Clubhouse public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, offices, and lounges.
• Clean and service remote facilities such as golf course restrooms, the pickleball building, and the pool and fitness center.
• Drive a club-provided vehicle or golf cart to assigned locations to perform cleaning and restocking duties.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and surface sanitizing.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, restock supplies, and ensure all facilities are guest-ready at all times.
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning of restrooms, locker rooms, and high-traffic areas according to schedule.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas across the property.
• Monitor housekeeping and restroom supplies, reporting replenishment needs to management promptly.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs to the Maintenance Manager immediately.
• Assist with special event cleaning, setup, and breakdown as requested.
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules, chemical handling procedures, and safety standards.
• Interact professionally with members, guests, and staff, maintaining a courteous and service-oriented demeanor at all times.
