About The Position

Release Recovery is excited to be growing our team in Westchester. The Housekeeper plays a foundational role in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive living environment within Release Recovery’s Transitional Living Program. This position is ideal for individuals who value organization, consistency, and take pride in creating welcoming spaces that support recovery and mental health. This role requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding cleanliness, structure, and community standards within the residence. Founded in 2017 by Zac Clark and Matthew Rinklin, Release Recovery is a leading provider of transitional living, outpatient treatment, and recovery support services for individuals experiencing substance use and mental health challenges. Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential housekeeping duties with attention to detail and consistency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents and staff.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of residential facilities, including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, and offices.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and trash removal.
  • Restock cleaning and household supplies and notify leadership when inventory is low.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and infection-control standards.
  • Support a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Interact with clients professionally while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the recovery-focused nature of the residence.
  • Remain adaptable to changing needs and assist with additional tasks as needed.
  • Communicate maintenance or safety concerns promptly to leadership.
  • Attend required meetings or trainings related to facility operations.
  • Uphold facility standards in cleanliness, order, and presentation at all times.
