About The Position

Come join our awesome team as a Housekeeper with Rochester Rehab and Living Center! Rochester Rehab and Living Center is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization. You will make a difference by providing companionship and much needed human interaction for our residents. The Housekeeper will clean rooms/apartments and common areas within the facility. The Rochester Rehabilitation & Living Center offers residents a nurturing environment and friendly community. Our specially-trained Rochester skilled care staff, memory care specialists, nurses, rehab therapists and other care professionals make it their mission to improve our residents health and wellbeing. Our community offers both short-term and long-term rehab and care; as well-as both home health and residentially living arrangements. It allows the staff to choose how they like with patients. Requirements

Must be willing to work in a Healthcare /Senior Living environment that is taking precautions for COVID-19.
Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing.

Nice To Haves

Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cleaning of all areas within the facility ultimately creating a clean and comfortable environment.
Monitors and follows reporting procedures for areas in need of maintenance.
Be a friendly face, in this time of need, for our residents.
