Housekeeper
About The Position
Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, and facility spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Demonstrate attention to detail in every apartment, ensuring all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Work efficiently and maintain speed without sacrificing quality, completing assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes. Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding, with care and accuracy. Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate department. Follow infection control protocols and adhere to all health and safety regulations. Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents, understanding their unique needs and preferences. Support a warm, welcoming environment that promotes dignity and comfort for seniors.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred; senior living or healthcare setting experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while managing multiple tasks.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to serve the senior population.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
