About The Position

If so, we’re looking for a dependable Housekeeping Assistant to help keep our home clean, safe, and welcoming for our seniors. Here’s what you’ll do:
Requirements
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must meet facility immunization requirements (e.g., flu shot, COVID-19 if applicable)
- Must follow infection prevention and safety protocols
- Willingness to take part in scheduled weekend/holiday rotations
Responsibilities
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, entrances, and hallways.
- Sweep, mop, disinfect, dust, and polish surfaces.
- Empty trash, replace liners, and transport soiled linens.
- Perform deep/terminal cleaning after resident discharges.
- Maintain equipment and use proper safety and infection control procedures.
- Report repair needs or supply shortages.
- Support a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
- Help train or mentor new housekeeping assistants (if experienced)
- Additional job duties as required
