About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services throughout the hospital in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Responsibilities

  • Performing routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Using cleaning agents, equipment, and supplies safely and effectively.
  • Removing trash, replacing liners, and managing waste in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Maintaining floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or polishing as needed.
  • Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Following infection control procedures and safety standards at all times.
