About The Position

The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp and Conference Center exists to support the ministry of the Salvation Army by providing the opportunity to experience Christ through focused programs in a natural, safe, camp conference environment. The outcome of this position is to prepare and clean areas that are used regularly.

Requirements

Minimum age of 19 years old.
Ability to accept authority and work a flexible schedule.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative and be a self starter.
An attention to detail.
A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible in light of changing job situations/priorities.
In agreement with the philosophy, goals and objectives of The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp and Conference Center.
Supportive of the mission of The Salvation Army.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in industrial housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

Motel and deluxe housing will be cleaned, beds made, bathrooms cleaned, towels distributed and floors vacuumed. In a timely manner.
Dorms, cabins, will be disinfected, bathroom and showers cleaned and blankets and pillows folded neatly on each bed.
Preform seasonal deep cleaning of windows, walls, floors, etc.
Assist the custodians during peak workloads with moving furniture, cleaning meeting areas, restrooms, etc.
All other duties as assigned (this may entail other camp departments).
