About The Position

The Vines Hospital (affiliated with Universal Health Services), located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting. Visit our website for more information on our hospital and services: www.TheVinesHospital.com Job Summary: Housekeeper The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility by performing daily housekeeping routines. This role ensures that all areas meet cleanliness standards and are kept safe, following OSHA regulations and facility policies.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment used in housekeeping
• Customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and adhere to standard procedures
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) years experience in housekeeping duties is preferred, preferably in a health care facility.
• Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain to maintain a clean environment throughout the facility
• Follow OSHA regulations to ensure a safe and risk-preventative environment
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
