Overview The part-time Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of the Rio Rancho Events Center. This role involves cleaning and maintaining public and private areas within the facility, including restrooms, event spaces, offices, and other common areas. The housekeeper will ensure the venue is clean, sanitized, and welcoming for events and day-to-day operations. This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.50 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the event schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, and event spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, and perform other tasks to maintain a tidy environment.
- Clean up spills, handle trash removal, and assist with event turnover and post-event cleanup.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
