About The Position

Coordinates general and preventative housekeeping maintenance to Red Rock BHS Facilities. Performs and/or coordinates those duties necessary to maintain a safe, presentable appearance of the Facility and Red Rock common areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous cleaning or maintenance experience
• Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
• Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties on daily basis
• Replenishes supplies in rooms as needed
• Removes, replaces and disinfects bedding
• Removes trash, newspapers and other items on a daily basis to ensure unit/rooms/common areas remain safe and in a presentable condition
• Monitors housekeeping supplies, prepares purchase order as needed and informs supervisor of needed supplies
• Follows established procedures for purchase of supplies and services
• Follows supervisory instructions of the rooms to correct any deficiencies observed
• Assists with loading or unloading of supplies
• Maintains supplies in a secure manner
• Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
• Performs other duties as required
