About The Position

Landmark Hospital of Joplin has an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team! This position will include weekend coverage . Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.

Summary: Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner, using a professional and customer service-focused approach.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background check

Responsibilities

• Cleans patients' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets
• Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies
• Ensures all waste is disposed of properly and supplies are maintained.
• Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedure
• Must be able to interact with patients, visitors, and coworkers in a warm, friendly and respectful manner.
