About The Position
This position supports our substance use residential programs. Position is designed to help create a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for clients. Housekeeper will assist with general cleaning of shared spaces of the program and assist with house laundry. Staff member will also help with cleaning staff offices, kitchen, and group areas.
Requirements
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Ability to operate powered floor equipment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the custodial field desirable.
Responsibilities
- Daily – House Laundry (bedding, towels, hand and cleaning towels) – Clients make their own beds and do their own laundry.
- Basic Cleaning involves the following: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal and replacing of bags, replacement of any towels/soap/toilet paper.
- Bathrooms – sinks, toilets, fixtures, mirrors (shower stalls upstairs floor only)
- Common areas include the following: entry area, front lobby, front office area, common hallways (down and upstairs), clinical offices, all restrooms, sweeping and mopping of kitchen, cafeteria, group room, and common area windows, door frames & glass panels.
