The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for guests. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, spotless cleanliness, product consistency and quality, and teamwork. Team Members are expected to greet guests happily, use their names, contribute to high guest satisfaction scores, and handle challenging situations with hospitality. All areas of the hotel, both front and back of the house, must be kept clean and well-organized, with everyone pitching in as needed. Operational checklists must be completed accurately, and uniform standards maintained. Clear, honest, and professional communication, a "can do" attitude, and collaboration are essential for creating a welcoming environment for guests and an effective, positive workplace.
