Housekeeper - Day Shift
About The Position
DAY SHIFT HOUSEKEEPER - FULL TIME Department: Environmental Services Reports To: ES/Laundry Manager Shift: 8 AM to 4 PM Responsibilities: Ensures that the rooms within the facility are cleaned in the proper manner. Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing housekeeping services. Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed. Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are removed from fixtures. Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways. Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc. Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, etc. ( NOTE : Ensure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.) Assists in other housekeeping duties as needed. Assists in the laundry, as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to positively interact with other staff, residents and families.

- Previous experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
