About The Position

Willow Valley Communities is hiring Full Time Housekeepers/Healthcare Housekeepers to keep a clean, sterile and neat environment for all our Residents, to perform maid service as needed for Residents, and to be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and neat appearance of all public areas and offices. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Non Healthcare: Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management.
  • Attends periodic staff meetings with other Team Member to discuss company policies and Residents concerns, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
  • Maid service for the Residents (tasks by request of Resident).
  • Housecleaning of Resident’s rooms and public areas.
  • Clean in all units and the common areas (lights, mirrors, chandeliers, woodwork, dust, vacuum halls, elevators, storage rooms, entrance door windows, laundry rooms, vacuum dining room carpet).
  • Clean all restrooms.
  • Empty trash cans from office - dust all furniture.
  • Clean stairways and stairway halls.
  • Dust ceilings for cobwebs.
  • Clean inside windows of halls and stairways as needed.
  • Linen exchanges.
  • Clean model apartment.
  • Vacuum furniture in lobby area and atrium.
  • Clean guest room during stay overs and when guests vacate.
  • Dust walls of elevators and common halls.
  • Healthcare: eeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
  • Washes beds and mattresses as scheduled.
  • Changes bed linens weekly where applicable.
  • Replaces soiled drapes as needed.
  • Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
  • Vacuums rugs, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Cleans surfaces of upholstered furniture.
  • Dusts furniture and equipment.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, floors, woodwork and countertops.
  • Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ash/trash receptacles.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Cleans Residents' rooms.
  • Cleans all public areas as scheduled including offices, wellness area, lounges, restrooms, country kitchens, spas (tubs), and laundry rooms.
  • Cleans light fixtures and replaces bulbs.
  • Detail clean Residents’ room, staff rooms, and dining room as scheduled.
  • Fills paper towel/toilet tissue dispensers.
  • Fills soap dispensers.
  • Restock linens in closets.
