Requirements

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Takes pride in maintaining high standards
Comfortable working in a physically active role
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
1+ year of related experience preferred
Must be able to follow cleaning and chemical safety procedures
Note: Locker rooms are gender-specific; this role supports the men’s locker room
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
Potential exposure to cleaning chemicals and biological materials

Responsibilities

Facility Cleanliness & Maintenance • Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, fitness areas, and common spaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, steam rooms, saunas, and hot tub areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas regularly
Empty trash and ensure all areas remain tidy and well-stocked
Fitness & Activity Spaces • Clean and sanitize gym equipment, mirrors, windows, and high-touch surfaces
Vacuum fitness areas and maintain cardio and aerobics rooms
Organize and clean weights, mats, and equipment
Restock towels and maintain towel stations
Front Desk & Public Areas • Monitor and clean entrance doors, mirrors, and stairways throughout the day
Ensure lobby and entry areas are presentable and welcoming
Maintain overall appearance of shared spaces
Inventory & Laundry Support • Restock supplies including towels, toiletries, and paper goods
Maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs
Transport towels and linens to and from laundry as needed
Safety & Standards • Follow proper procedures for use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Maintain awareness of safety hazards and sanitation standards
Assist in emergency situations as needed
