Essential Functions: Under direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor, performs general cleaning throughout the facility. Cleans floors, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing. Cleans and stocks bathrooms. Dusts areas that contain furniture, such as offices. Cleans windows.

Requirements

  • Safe work practices.
  • General cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to: Read, write, and speak English.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Work in a team atmosphere.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
  • Skill to: Operate radio devices.
  • Operate equipment, scrubbers (riding and walk behind), sweepers (riding), vacuums, etc.
  • Must be able to pass background.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one-year experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position.
