This position provides high quality cleaning services for all areas of the facility as well as set-up of rooms for events. Requirements
- Evenings and weekends hours only
- Ability to listen and follow instructions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work and get along with fellow employees
- Sufficient training, experience, and competence in the janitorial field
Responsibilities
- Sweep, Scrub, mop and wax floors
- Vacuum and clean rugs and carpets
- Clean, dust and polish furniture and woodwork
- Empty and clean waste receptacles and ashtrays
- Clean walls, ceilings, restrooms, window shades and light fixtures
- Operate machinery such as buffers, vacuums and shampoo machines
- Set-up event rooms according to Banquet Event Order diagrams.
- Assist in moving furniture
- Maintain good attendance and promptness
- Follow safety procedures
- Report evidence of vandalism or damage
- Be always personable and courteous to the public
- Preform any other duties assigned by supervisors
