Community of Ferris Hills.

Requirements

• Interest in working with a senior population
• Team-oriented, reliable, and flexible
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to heat above 100 degrees F and cold below 40 degrees F for sustained periods, working at heights over six feet, vibration, skin irritants, lung irritants, and chemicals.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to interact with guests, residents, and associates in a courteous and friendly manner

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweeps, dusts, dust mops, and wet mop all floors and stairways; spot cleans and vacuums floors, rugs, carpets, and runners.
• Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated pick up areas.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures and facilities; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Dust, washes, sponge mops, sanitize, and hand shampoos furniture; dust desk and floor lamps, clean and polish glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills.
• Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
