About The Position

As the Housekeeper at Alsana, you will assist with maintaining the facility in a clean and safe manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of commercial or residential cleaning experience required
• Ability to work well on a team and communicate efficiently

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empties wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Dust and polishes furniture and equipment.
• Keeps storage areas are well stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Requests repair services when needed and turns mattresses as needed.
• Observes precautions required to protect clients and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
