Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Some previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Must be available to work weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Some previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests
  • Assist Housekeeping management in daily hotel activities
  • Perform thorough cleaning duties in guest areas and the back of the house when needed
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
  • Communicate issues to next shift
  • Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
  • Maintain and uphold housekeeping departmental standards
  • Manage inventory of supplies
  • Report maintenance issues promptly
  • Follow departmental policies, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary to provide optimal service to guests
  • Assist in laundry and breakfast departments
  • Perform additional duties as required
