Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Some previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Must be available to work weekends

Nice To Haves

Some previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests
Assist Housekeeping management in daily hotel activities
Perform thorough cleaning duties in guest areas and the back of the house when needed
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
Communicate issues to next shift
Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
Maintain and uphold housekeeping departmental standards
Manage inventory of supplies
Report maintenance issues promptly
Follow departmental policies, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with other departments as necessary to provide optimal service to guests
Assist in laundry and breakfast departments
Perform additional duties as required
