This role involves cleaning and inspecting rooms and halls in commercial establishments such as hotels, timeshares, and restaurants.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must embody core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of all assigned rooms.
  • Achieve a productivity of 12 credits per day, with credits assigned based on size and type of service.
  • Strip units and remove all trash.
  • Clean units including but not limited to bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
  • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces in bathrooms using cloths, mops, sponges, and brushes.
  • Strip and make beds, change bed linens, which may require lifting of all soiled linen in bedrooms.
  • Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
  • Consistently maintain unit inspection score of 80% or above as dictated by established resort standards.
  • Ensure proper use of all equipment and supplies following established procedures.
  • Immediately report Lost & Found items following established procedures.
  • Work in a team environment and assist with other duties as necessary.
  • Ensure all inventory is in each unit.
  • Replenish houseware supplies as needed.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
  • Clean entire unit inside and outside.
  • Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.
  • Assist in the training of fellow employees as it pertains to their area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
