About The Position

We are seeking a hospitality focused and organized individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces. The role involves performing a range of cleaning duties to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeper plays a key role in contributing to guest satisfaction by keeping all facilities clean, well-maintained, and in line with the organization's quality standards.

Requirements

  • Time management skills to complete tasks within allotted timeframes.
  • Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to bend, kneel, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established cleaning procedures.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
  • Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries and other amenities.
  • Prepare rooms for new arrivals by ensuring all facilities are in perfect condition.
  • Disinfect high-touch areas such as light switches, door handles, and remotes to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and used linens properly.
  • Handle the collection, washing, drying, and folding of linens as needed.
  • Respond politely to any guest requests or inquiries while working.
  • Address guest concerns regarding cleanliness and ensure their needs are met promptly.
