About The Position

NorthStar Maintenance Group is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain a small clinic in Madisonville, KY. The person will go in and clean the building after everyone is gone in the evenings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It takes approximately 3-4 hours each evening to clean. The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable. This person must be dependable and not miss work.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
• Must be comfortable being alone at the building by yourself.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas.
• Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors.
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture.
• Sweep & mop.
• Stock – Paper towels, toilet paper and soap. Let us know when we are getting low on supplies.
• Empty trash containers.
• If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.
