About The Position
Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is seeking Housekeepers to join their team. This role involves providing a reassuring presence while cleaning patient rooms throughout the hospital. The hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties. It has enhanced and expanded health care services with a state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians and visiting specialists. The hospital also operates four rural health clinics, a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department, and an award-winning Wound Care Center. Environmental Services, which includes the Housekeeper role, provides housekeeping, linen, floor care, and waste management services for the entire MBSH campus, vital for maintaining an infection-free and positive facility image. The Housekeeper is an environmental services worker responsible for daily housekeeping services as assigned, using outlined procedures.

Responsibilities
- Performs routine janitorial and cleaning activities in patient, public and common areas using prescribed, established cleaning process.
- Performs discharge cleaning process in inpatient rooms and prepares room for next admission.
- Performs room set up and changes as needed, including changing linens, cleaning, mopping and furnishing.
- Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedure.
- Notifies supervisor or manager of any equipment, furniture, or building fixtures that are in need of maintenance.
