Requirements

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Will consider relevant work experience in lieu of education.
  • EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience in an institutional group setting preferred. Experience working with children and adolescents preferred and/or in behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class;hours are approximately 9am to 5:30pm daily.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize/disinfect, sweep, and mop all areas of facility, as assigned.
  • Dust and clean all A/C vents on a daily basis; clean all windows and windowsills.
  • Routine laundry for all residents at facility, to include sorting, washing, loading, and unloading.
  • Report any necessary repairs, replacements, safety issues which will require immediate notification to maintenance department.
  • Monitor and maintain all Housekeeping Supplies and chemicals in direct line of sight of staff.
  • Participate in Monthly Environment of Care inspections and ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards of care.
