This position involves performing a variety of environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. Key duties include inspecting and ensuring cleanliness, cleaning various types of rooms (patient, exam, public, toilets, procedure, OR, offices) and equipment according to established procedures, removing trash, and replenishing supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, and soap. The role also requires making beds in patient discharge and on-call rooms, maintaining assigned equipment, and moving furniture or other items as needed. Adherence to all safety and sanitation regulations is mandatory. For facilities with specialty accreditation, completion of annual required education related to accreditation standards through CBLs, trainings, in-services, and competency validation is also a responsibility.
