Requirements

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
• Able to operates cleaning equipment such as: iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities
• Clean public/common areas and resident’s apartments
• Distribute laundered articles and linens
• Change beds
• Clean public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dust furniture and equipment
• Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Wash, dry and iron resident laundry and community linens
• Fold and/or hang laundry appropriately
• Maintain and clean resident laundry areas
• Wash windows at reasonable heights through out the community as requested
• Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies
• Stock cleaning cart with supplies
• Empty wastebaskets, and transport trash to disposal area
• Ensure with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly
• Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
