Requirements

  • Prior housekeeping experience helpful, training may be provided
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manual and directions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved products and procedures
  • Empty trash and replace liners; dispose of waste properly
  • Restock supplies (paper products, soap, disinfectants) as needed
  • Follow infection control practices, safety protocols, and facility policies
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns (spills, leaks, broken items) promptly
  • Support room readiness tasks as assigned (routine cleaning, terminal cleaning as needed)
