About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit. This position is an every other weekend ONLY position. Housekeepers are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks: Maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Provides a suitable environment for the care of patients and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lancaster Behavioral Health What do our current staff value at LBHH? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Prior housekeeping experience in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of equipment usage including vacuum cleaner, washer, cleaning products, safety, and infection control policies.
